Department Supplemental Waitlist

THE WAITLIST WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE BEGINNING OF REGISTRATION WAVE 2

DO NOT FILL OUT UNTIL YOUR REGISTRATION PERIOD – THIS IS A LIST FOR STUDENTS WHO HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO REGISTER ON THEIR OWN DUE TO CLASS BEING FULL OR RESTRICTED.

To accommodate the high demand for undergraduate STOR courses we offer a supplemental waitlist form.  We will make every attempt to fill the class to its published capacity up until the end of the first week of classes, after which we will cease to review waitlists. You are welcome to sit in on the class while on the waitlist, but keep in mind that the instructor is allowed to ask non-registered students to leave if the class size becomes a problem.

If your request can be accommodated, you will be contacted via your UNC email account.  Due to the high volume of requests, we cannot contact those who are unsuccessful.  If you have not been contacted by the census date, we have not been able to accommodate you.

Please be sure that you meet all the class requirements.  Many of our courses have seats reserved for STAN majors or minors.  This means if you have not officially declared the major or minor, you will not be allowed to register.  If there are problems with your registration you will be responsible for resolving them, i.e. account holds, credit overloads, scheduling conflicts.  Lack of prerequisites will prevent registration, unless written permission from the instructor can be presented.
