2024 Spring Commencement RSVP's Have Been E-mailed to STAN Degree Candidates

ATTENTION!
RSVP’S have went out to Statistics degree candidates on Monday, March 18th. Parents and Guardians please join us in encouraging your senior to RSVP to our Departmental Celebration! The link to our RSVP survey is found in their e-mails.
The UNC-CH Mathematics and Statistics and Operations Research Departments will honor graduates in a recognition ceremony on Sunday, May 12th. We will recognize December 2023, May 2024, and expected August 2024 graduates at our ceremony.
A few important notes about graduation:
- The ceremony will be Sunday, May 12th, at 11:00 AM in Memorial Hall. You must RSVP by Monday, April 1st at 4:00 PM. RSVPs after this date will be dependent on ticket availability.
- Guests must have a ticket to attend.
- In addition to our departmental ceremony, the university will host a Spring commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 11th at 7 PM in Kenan Memorial Stadium. The celebration in Kenan does not limit the number of guests you are able to bring. We encourage you to have your larger groups celebrate together with you at this ceremony. - During the graduate recognition, graduates will walk up a short flight of stairs to reach the commencement stage, please be sure to wear appropriate footwear for this event. If you or your guests need accommodations, please complete the form here with additional information as soon as possible. Requests can be served more effectively if notice is provided at least 14 days before the event.
