Total Hours Required:

Statistics and analytics majors must complete 120 academic hours. They also must attain at least a grade of C, not C-, in 18 hours of the courses listed under Core Requirements. Remaining General Education courses and electives to reach 120 hours will be 66-69.

In addition to the program requirements, students must:

  • attain a final cumulative GPA of at least 2.0
  • complete a minimum of 45 academic credit hours earned from UNC–Chapel Hill courses
  • take at least half of their major course requirements, courses and credit hours, at UNC–Chapel Hill
  • earn a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 in coursework taken at UNC-Chapel Hill in the major core
